My Other Body is the story of an older sister's fatal struggle with obesity - a younger sister's journey from compulsive eating toward better mental health - and of their love, which survived all challenges.
A voice . . . a validation . . . and a love letter for anyone who struggles with weight, compulsive eating, or body image
I found the book very well written, and I thought you managed to tackle an awfully difficult and possibly off-putting subject in such a manner that the reader is not only able to fully sympathise with your sister's plight, but is able to put aside the judgemental and condescending attitude that, let's face it, our society all too often permits when confronting obesity. I felt a lot of grace in the book and think you should definitely keep writing!!!!
I marvel at Ann’s ability to talk honestly not only about the pain of watching her sister’s life deteriorate, but her own battle with binge eating and obesity. She lost her sister, so she makes new sisters of all of us who share her struggles.

I wanted to thank you for including me among those who get to read your book, pre-publication. I found your descriptions of what it feels like to be in the throes of a binge eating episode to be haunting and visceral…some of the best descriptions I’ve read!
