Dear friends and readers,

Life's been interesting over the past year as I've transformed into a blogger and a triathlete. Those
of you who have read the book and followed my story know that I strongly identified in the past as a
person who lived with an eating disorder.

The eating disorder has become irrelevant to my daily life. Running, swimming, and biking have
become relevant. I'd love for you to visit and comment on my blog,
In This Body, where I write about
the cool stuff I'm learning through athletics
about body and spirit. I also feature interviews and guest
posts, when I can get them, with the community of everyday athletes all around me.

However, I'm still wearing my other hat of author and book publisher! My Other Body has been
uploaded to the Kindle store, and you can look for it there. I'm also working out the details to do an
audio version of the book.

One goal for 2010 is to sell through my available book stock and then bring out the second edition of
the book through a print-on-demand venue, which will relieve me of shipping operations. To meet
that goal, and to have some fun and raise some money for charity, I'm sponsoring an "I'll Buy You a
Bike" promotion. Read more here.

Finally, yes -- I'm working on a new book. I had the privilege in 2009 of working with a group of
women from
StaytheCourse in Kansas City to discuss building mental strength and habits to
approach disordered eating and harmful body images. The material that evolved from those sessions
is the basis for my new work.

And that's the news. Champagne flutes up! Here's to our projects and our passions: may they grant
us lives rich in joy, satisfaction, and friendships!

Cheers,
Ann Pai
