Buy a book from this web site between January 11, 2010 and 5 PM March 1,

Yes. I really will. But only if I sell 1000 copies by March 1, and only if I draw your name. There is
no guaranteed "winner." If I don't sell 1000 copies by March 1, I won't be giving away the gift

Why are you doing this?
I want to clear a big chunk of my inventory, and I want to buy a road bike for myself. I thought it
would be more fun to put some other people on bikes at the same time. (See the back story on
my blog.)
What happens if you don't sell 1000 copies?
I'll take the money that's been set aside and give a full half of it to Kimberlee's Bikes for Kids. No
bike for a reader. No guaranteed bike for me -- it's more important to me to keep Sunspot Press
going than it is to be on a road bike.
Do you think you'll sell 1000 copies?
Absolutely. There are 1000 people out there who really want to read My Other Body. There are
1000 people who will say, as other readers have, "You told the story of my life." But these 1000
readers haven't heard of the book yet. This effort is one more way to get the word out.
Isn't this a money-making scheme?
Sure it is. But look -- in the four years that I've been selling this book, I haven't taken more than
$150 of income from it. All the profits go back into the business. The first time I use some of the
profits from my work, I want to share them in a big way with a great charity and with a reader.
The best part of this deal for me is that I get a chance to do that!
