College Audiences

Speaking in classrooms and college audiences of up to 2000, Ann Pai has brought messages of
tolerance, patience, and better health to college students. College students are uniquely
positioned to face challenges of body image and behavior patterns that will influence their
adult lives. The stories of Ann and her sister, as well as Ann's insights, create a space for
meaningful discussion about how to find both healthy change and self-acceptance.

Medical Professionals

Ann Pai has spoken to groups of clinicians, doctors and nurses, and medical students,
presenting her experiences as a case study in attitudes that best serve the patient whose life
is touched by the issues of weight, fat, or disordered eating. Her presentation, "Constructive
Conversation: Obesity and the Patient Perspective," offers personal insights as well as
    practical suggestions for the practitioner.
